WHAT YOUR
NORTH PERTH

TRIP COULD LOOK LIKE

Perth's north is home to some of the city's most underrated golf. Joondalup, Wanneroo and Yanchep are all an easy run up the Mitchell Freeway, so the weekend is spent on the course, not in the car.

Three quality rounds, short drives between them and a cold one waiting at the end. You bring the lads. We bring the rest.

GREAT LAYOUTS

NORTH OF PERTH

1

27 award-winning holes cut through bushland, past lakes and right through an old limestone quarry. Quarry holes 3 to 5 are the ones the group will still be talking about at the Kangaroo Arms that night.

2

Up at Yanchep and recently redesigned, with plenty of doglegs and long sweeping breaks on the greens. Ranked in Australia's Top 100 public access courses and well worth the drive.

3

A tree-lined parkland course about 30 minutes from the city. Flat fairways, long par 4s and greens the locals rate highly. Straight hitting gets rewarded here, so the group's wayward drivers are on notice.

4

The easy-going round of the trip. A well-wooded public course about 40 minutes north of the city, with a licensed bar and cafe waiting at the end. More about the banter than the scorecard.
